Introduction

The International Coaching Federation (ICF) defines coaching as “partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.” Coaching is a powerful and effective tool that helps a professional set his or her own agenda to achieve desired goals.

The DEI Coaching Certification course can be attended by anyone who wants to serve as a diversity practitioner or who is in the role and values credentials for professional recognition.

Learning Objectives

  1. To create a coaching culture to listen and impact change
  2. To buildcultural competencies that empower emotional resilience and collaboration.
  3. To understand differences and how they impact the workplace
  4. To promise inclusive intelligence and champion respectful interactions

Learning Tools and Certification

As part of the course, books, articles, and other materials to developIDEAs (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity in Action) knowledge, skills and abilities will be taught. The course will be conducted via interactive sessions, lectures, readings, activities, case applications, role-play and reflection exercises. To master the content the participant will successfully complete assignments and assessments.At the end course, participants will undergo an assessment after the successful completion certificates will be awarded.

Program Design

The Training program designed by Personality Matters provides methods, models and tools to support these competencies. Our trainings are engaging, interactive, and practical for all trainees. Through guided activities, specific case studies, role-plays and more, participants learn to enhance their DEI coaching skills. We enable each person to communicate, build trust and respect and coach effectively.

The program will be a mix of synchronous and asynchronous learning. Classes will include virtual learning via zoom, discussions and highly engaging group and pair practice with experienced coaches. Asynchronous learning will include self-study, learning, research, writing and activities that are outside of synchronous learning.
