Happy day #ConfessedProcrastinator-First off, do not be hard on yourself. We all procrastinate from time to time. It happens when we avoid tasks that we find unpleasant. This is the key to overcome procrastination, you do away with the unpleasantness. By doing this you pave the way for a sense of accomplishment that can encourage you towards more goal achievement. Some ways to get rid of the unpleasantness:
 
Make the resolution fun and reward yourself with incentives
Turn the resolution into a habit so that you avoid relapse
If the resolution is a major one, chop it into manageable activities
